Cancellation & Refunds Policy

ROLE OF HYWAYAPP

  1. hywayApp only provides a technology platform that connects intending travelers with bus operators. It doesn’t operate any bus or offer the service of transportation to the User. hywayApp also doesn’t act as an agent of any bus operator in the process of providing the above-mentioned technology platform services.
  2. The bus ticket booking voucher which hywayApp issues to a User is solely based on the information provided or updated by the bus operator regarding the seat availability.
  3. The amenities, services, routes, fares, schedule, bus type, seat availability and any other details pertaining to the bus service are provided by the respective bus operator and hywayApp has no control over such information provided by the bus operator.

CANCELLATION OF TICKET

  1. Cancellation of tickets can be done either through the User’s login in the hyway mobile application, or by calling on the customer care number;
  2. Any cancellation is subject to such cancellation charges as mentioned on the ticket.

CANCELLATION FEE DURATION

  1. No Cancellation Fee Before 72 Hrs
  2. Fee at 10% of the basic fare Between 72 hours and 48 hours before the departure time.
  3. Fee at 25% of the basic fare Between 48 hours and 24 hours before the departure time.
  4. Fee at 40% of the basic fare Between 24 hours and 12hour before the departure time.
  5. Fee at 50% of the basic fare Between 12 hours and 2 hours before the departure time.
  6. No refund Less than two hours before the departure time and at/after the departure time.

Refunds Policy

  1. Refunds processed for cancelled tickets are transferred to the passenger’s bank account / debit / credit / ITZ card that was used while booking the tickets.
  2. All Refunds are processed automatically upon cancellation of tickets. Your bank may take 5-7 working days to credit this amount to your account/card.
  3. No refund will be processed for No-Show Passengers (Passenger who do not report at the boarding point on time).
  4. Any transaction charges/Ticket Delivery charges collected shall not be refunded if the tickets are cancelled by the customer.
  5. In the event of cancellation of a bus / service trip by the bus partner, Hywayapp will assist the passenger in providing an alternative service, subject to availability. In case an alternative is not available, then HywayApp shall be liable to the passenger only to the extent of refunding the sum paid by the passenger for the price of the ticket.
